With a focus on the whole child, and fun and friendliness driving our Pre-Kindergarten program, our students enjoy a respected, safe and supportive environment and program, developed with our littlest learners in mind.
Open to children turning four years old by 31 May, our Pre-Kindergarten program is developed to entice students to explore and discover while introducing pre-literacy, phonics, and pre-numeracy skills, in a vibrant and play-oriented environment, providing children with the best possible start to their learning journey.
Our Pre-Kindergarten facility is bright, welcoming and secure, allowing for investigation and inquiry while facilitating both structured group time and free play, indoors and outdoors. An added benefit is that students can take part in College-wide events such as weekly Chapel, Library visits and whole school assemblies, leading to a familiar and comfortable transition to Kindergarten, through to Year 12 and the world beyond.
Play is the work of a child.
An emphasis on strong partnerships between home and school means that our teachers are in regular contact with families to celebrate achievements and milestones and to provide insight and assistance as students approach the beginning of formal schooling.
At Macarthur Adventist College, we firmly believe that the early years are a time to lay a strong foundation for learning, and our goal is for each Pre-Kindergarten student to enter Primary School with the confidence and readiness to learn, be responsible, build resilience and feel like they belong.
Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf, welcomes me.
