Student Leadership Program - Macarthur Adventist College

How we develop leaders

At Macarthur Adventist College, students are encouraged to develop the confidence, character and skills to lead through service.

Leadership opportunities encourage students to take initiative, work collaboratively and make a positive contribution to their College and wider community. Through meaningful experiences, students learn to lead with integrity, compassion and purpose while developing skills that prepare them for life beyond the classroom.

Leadership opportunities may include:

  • Invictus Program
  • Student Representative Council (SRC), College Captain and other student leadership positions
  • Planning and leading College events and functions
  • Outdoor education and leadership camps
  • Leading weekly assemblies
  • Service learning projects, including visits to pre-schools, aged care facilities and mission trips
