Scholarships

What we offer and who can apply

Macarthur has a range of scholarships available to enrolled students who excel in academics, sport, the arts or service.

Students applying must fit the criteria for the scholarships and maintain their high standards during the period of the scholarship. Scholarships are granted for one academic year, but students who have previously received a scholarship are eligible to reapply.

Students should be able to demonstrate that they will uphold the ethos of the school and be prepared to promote the school through their work and appearance at school events. For further information please contact the school and speak to the Principal.

Applying for a Scholarship

Application should be made to the College, using the scholarship application form. Where possible, the applicant can supply written documentation to support their application. This application is then put through a review process, for approval by the College Council.

The closing date for applications is the end of Term 3 of the year prior to the academic year the scholarship will commence (e.g. if commencing in February 2024, then the application is to be submitted by September 2023). Successful applicants will be informed before the end of Term 4. This procedure may be adjusted at the College Council's discretion if an applicant enrols in the school during the course of the year. All scholarships entitle the student to 15% off the normal tuition fee. All other costs are incurred by the student, including: camp fees, consumable fees, uniform and textbook hire.

If you have any queries regarding scholarship, please contact Macarthur Adventist College on 9605 3200.
